Micah: A Commentary on the Book of the Prophet Micah is unavailable, but you can change that!

With refreshing respect for the reader, Hillers lays out the evidence for his case cautiously and asks the readers to form their own decisions. The author very sensitively explicates the many figures of speech and collects a most helpful set of biblical passages which illuminate the text. The succinct style of Hillers’ writing will serve the you well as you uncover the truths of Micah.

Commentary The contrast between this view of Zion and the Jerusalem to be “plowed like a field” has seemed to some to amount to a contradiction. In Wellhausen’s unlovely phrase it is a poultice stuck on the wound left by chapter three. But whatever view one takes of the relation of this vision to the rest of the book, all will agree that it has been placed strategically, for (to cite only the most obvious) it continues the topic of Jerusalem from chap. 3 and leads into the Zion prophecies of chap.
